Castillo de Soutomaior is located in a truly privileged place because of the wide landscape that can be seen from there, at 119 meters above sea level, dominating the territory framed by the valley of the Verdugo River, from its confluence with the Oitavén River to its mouth in the cove of San Simón, in Arcade.
