Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

AirVuz contributor VeronikaChi brings us this excellent drone video of Canada's tallest lighthouse.  The Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse is located near the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River.  Constructed in 1858, it stands 112 ft (34 m) tall, making it visible up to 28 mi. (44 km) away in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.  Automated since 1981, it's been designated as a National Historic Site of Canada as well as a Federal Heritage Building by the Canadian government.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

Slow and cinematic video of Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse at summer sunrise and winter grumpy day sunset. One of my favourite lighthouses in Quebec!
