Cantabria is both a semi-autonomous region and a province in the northwestern part of Spain, between the Asturias and Basque Country regions. Cantabria features a stunning coastline along the Bay of Biscay with a chain of mountains running just south of the coast. The region is known for its distinctive-looking coastal cliffs and rock formations, as well as the lush greenery of the Cantabria Mountains.
