Campo Imperatore Dronie

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top contributor Mauro Paglia and his canine friend created this epic dronie from a famous mountain plateau in Central Italy. Campo Imperatore is an alpine meadow in the Gran Sasso massif, the highest part of Italy's Apennine Mountains. It's situated in the Gran Sasso e Monti Della Laga National Park in the Abruzzo Region, which covers much of the east-central part of the country. While its altitudes are lower, it is known as the Tibet of Italy in reference to the Tibetan Plateau of the Himalayan Mountains.
