Bunbury is a coastal town in the state of Western Australia.  It's situated about 175 km (around 110 mi.) south of Perth, the WA capital city.  With a population of about 75,000, Bunbury is the state's third largest city after Perth and Mandurah.  It lies at the south end of a body of water known as the Leschenault Estuary, which has been heavily altered over time through various engineering works.  The economy of the town is driven by the mining industry and, to a somewhat lesser extent, by agriculture.
