Along Highway 1 on the Caifornia Coast, there is a 150 km (90 mi) stretch running from San Simeon in the south to Carmel in the north. Known as Big Sur, it is widely considered to be the most spectacular undeveloped coastline area in the United States. This drone film by contributor dolan creative explores this magnificent stretch of coastline, which became a household name via the 1962 classic novel Big Sur by beatnik author Jack Kerouac, subsequently adapted to a screenplay by the same name in 2013.
