Barbary Beach Bahamas

Check out this drone video of Barbary Beach in the Bahamas, compliments of contributor peel_town.  The beach is located on the southern shore of Grand Bahama island, just east of Freeport.  This part of the Bahamas was developed relatively recently.  Greater Freeport owes its existence to an American financier named Wallace Groves; in the 1950's he was granted a large chunk of Grand Bahama to develop with casino properties.  Mission accomplished; Freeport is now the country's second largest city.
