BRDY - the largest contiguously forested areas
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Czech Republic is known in part for its forests, some of the largest in Central Europe. In this drone video by top AirVuz contributor ludoweet, you'll get an aerial view of what is believed to be the country's largest contiguous forested area: the Brdy Mountains. The massif runs for about 35 mi. (around 60 km) southwest of Prague. Its highest peak is called Praha, which has a summit elevation of about 2.8k ft. above sea level (around 860 m). The range was largely restricted to military use for much of the 20th century.

- Report
Brdy - the highest purely Czech mountain range in our country, which experienced first-hand the penetration of man into the landscape, the period of romantic tourism and the period when it was used to train troops, which has preserved the forests to this day. Since January 2016, the area has been open to the public.
