AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : One of the most beautiful parts of central Austria is the area around the town of Halstatt. The town sits on the shores of the eponymously named lake (Hallstätter See), on the slopes of the Hoher Dachstein masif. The mountain range serves as the border between Upper Austria and Styria, the two main regions of the middle part of the country.
