August in Latvia

Take in these marvelous 4k drone views of the countryside of Latvia, compliments of AirVuz contributor Nils Sokolovs.  Filmed on a foggy August morning, the video beautifully captures the essence of the largely flat and forested Latvian interior.  The low-lying fog is a common phenomenon here, particularly in the warmer months when the moist air collects and has nowhere to disperse.  Situated on the Great Eastern European Plain, Latvia is home to some of the most beautiful scenery of this type to be found anywhere on the continent.
