Alpine mountain surfing at 2500m above sea level

After a 4 hour long walk I finally reached the mountain top of "Schionbichl", which is 2452m high. From that point I flew down this astonishing formation to capture the small frozen lake and the mountaincross overshadowing this place. Lastly I captured the view from our POV. At the end you can see a glimpse of the Dolomites (southeast) scratching the top of the sky. Simply beautiful and absolutely worth the 6 hours of walking/hiking! The fact I could cover all of the surrounding landscape within one flight, makes this (to me) one of my best shots I've taken so far. Sound: M83 - Outro
