There's a good chance you've seen the Alabama Hills and not known it.  Located not in the southeastern state but rather in southern California, the range of hills and rock formations was discovered for its cinematic value not long after Hollywood became the epicenter of the emerging film industry in the early 1900's.  Since then, more than 150 films and a dozen major TV shows (mostly Westerns) have been filmed here.  In this drone video by myflyingeyes, you'll get an aerial tour of these famous hills on the slopes of the Sierra Nevadas.
