Akropoli in New Year's Eve, 2024, One shot

In a single shot, AirVuz contributor TonyVisionSha gives us this fantastic aerial view of the famous Acropolis of Athens, Greece on New Year's Eve.  The ancient hilltop fortress consists of a number of buildings, the most well-known of which is the Parthenon; others include the Propylaea, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike.  The buildings were largely constructed in the fifth century BC under Pericles, at a time when the city-state of Athens was becoming one of the most important powers in the eastern Mediterranean.
