Now onto your drone news headlines. Ahead of hurricane Dorian which hit the Bahamas over the weekend and is now heading to the east coast of the United States, the FAA is urging people to not fly their drones around areas impacted by the storm. In a post on Facebook, the FAA wrote you could face a $20,000 fine if you interfere with emergency response operations during and after the storm. French wireless products manufacturer, Parrot, released a new edition of its flagship drone the Anafi. The latest iteration, Anafi FPV, includes a headset that gives the drone pilot a first-person view perspective. However, instead of the goggles having a screen, users will need to place their smartphone into a slot in the headset, similar to VR goggles. Parrot’s Anafi FPV package will cost $799 and will be available later this month.
We’ve got an update on a story we first reported to you on July 1st of this year. A drone pilot who flew over a crowd of people at a Toronto Raptors celebration without authorization has been fined $2750. Transport Canada says the drone operator was fined for 11 separate violations under the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Drone Racing Entertainment group, Hydra FPV, hosted a Tiny Whoop race at Mystic Lake Casino this weekend. The FPV race through the Twin Cities casino was live streamed on the Hydra FPV Facebook page. This PlayerUP Esports tournament had a grand prize of  $1000. Click the link in the description to learn more. It’s pretty cool to see all the places hosting FPV races these days. Check back next week for more drone news and updates on the World of Drones.
