Hey there, I’m Tyler Mason at AirVuz headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, here with the latest in the World of Drones. AirVuz user Tangybuttfrog cooked up a fun video (FPV Potatoe - Drone Made From A Potato) this past week. This one-of-a-kind FPV quad was built with, well, a potato. Tangybuttfrog says that it was indeed a real potato and that it crashed 3 times before falling apart — despite keeping the potato skin on for extra durability. In other drone news… DJI announced a new version of its Tello drone, which should appeal to Marvel fans. The new Tello, an introductory-level drone in DJI’s fleet, which retails for $129, is decked out to look just like the popular superhero Iron Man. Over the weekend, police in Ohio used a drone to rescue a missing 90-year-old woman with dementia. Thanks to the drone, the Xenia Police Department in Green County, Ohio, were able to spot the missing woman tangled in brush in an open field and safely returned her home. We’ll be announcing a new Drone Video of the Week and Drone Video of the Month winner later this week. So be sure to stay tuned to AirVuz.com to find out who won. Before the final season of “Game of Thrones” begins this Sunday, be sure to check out our video collection that features Game of Thrones filming locations.
