Check out this drone video of one of the oldest cities in the Caucasus republic of Georgia, compliments of AirVuz contributor Microscope.  Uplistsikhe is an ancient town in the Shida Kartli administrative region, about 10 km (around 6 mi.) east of Gori.  Settled since the second millennium BC, Uplistsikhe was one of the most important cities in the Kingdom of Kartli which ruled over much of what is now south-central Georgia during much of the Antiquity.  It was destroyed during the Mongol raids of the 14th century and abandoned.
