Monument Valley spans the Utah-Arizona border in the Southwestern United States.  With its giant sandstone buttes, the valley was discovered by producers of Western movies in the 1930's.  Ever since, it's been known as one of the most iconic "cowboy" filming locations in the world.  In this 18 second drone video by contributor and drone pilot Rick Ray Films captures a "cowboy" sitting on his horse overlooking this spectacular expanse of desert in the heart of the great American West.
