Every year in Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia, the local villages gather to uphold a unique tradition. Drone pilot rovitavare flew above the most recent caravan to capture the tradition and stunning surrounding fields and mountain range.

Rejeban Plabengan is an annual occasion to welcome Rajab. Rajab is the seventh month of the year on the Javanese calendar. On all Fridays during the month, the villagers form a processional in honor of their elders and religion. Walking along the slopes of Mount Sumbing on the climbing route Cepit Hamlet, villagers carry food using tenong, a carrying basket made of bamboo. The tradition is now attended by hundreds of people, both local residents and tourists.
