Abandoned 90's Disco @ Green Hill

The bando featured in this FPV video is in pretty rough shape, but you can tell it once was a party-filled space. Flown through by pilot Tiago.Guano, the space was called Discoteca Green Hill. It was a night club in For do Arelho, Portugal and, according to Tiago.Guano, was a busy dance hall until it closed in 2013. You can see what used to be stages for dancing and bars for party goers, now falling a part throughout the flight. This video earned him a spot on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in February of 2019.

Green Hill, in Foz do Arelho, was an institution, an icon of the 80's and 90's that spanned three generations and opened every weekend for 30 years. It closed in 2013. The crisis, the lack of revenue generated by the club in recent years and the costs of maintaining the building may explain why it died.
