AV News: Valplushka! Drone Artisan!

Drones and video games… Drones IN video games- check out this video we found that brings one drone out of the console, and into real life! Anyone who’s played the game Half Life 2 will recognize this antagonizing apparatus… The City Scanner! Well, Our Benefactors at the Combine must be hard at work, because check this out! Here is a real life Scanner, complete with its own shield, and carbon fiber frame. This thing is awesome!! It was created by a Valentin Demchenko- from Russia- who goes by ‘Valplushka’ on AirVuz. You might remember him from our Droneboarding story. Valentin’s been busy inventing more cool drones in his workshop, like this sweet looking Drone Ball. He even includes the instructions on how he built them- in Russian, of course. So AirVūz News corresponded with Mr. Demchenko himself to get the lowdown for us English speakers… He lives in southern Russia- about 500 miles from Moscow. As you can see from his videos, the area has plenty of abandoned buildings to provide his desired aesthetic. And Valentin know a bit about aesthetics, check out his artwork! He is a painter by trade, as you can see his works on canvas are quite stylish! Inventing cool new drones is a hobby right now for Valentin, and things like his droneboarding concept is just a fun idea, he says. He loves to invent and develop new ideas, and once they take flight he prefers to move on to the next new idea. Demchenko says he’d fond of Drone Racing, so keep an eye out for some new inventions like unusual FPV helmets and longer lasting, more practical yet uniquely designed drones!
