As the droning industry continues to push technological boundaries and companies like Google and Amazon jockey for position in the home delivery frontier there is another type of delivery that seems to be making some smaller waves.
Microdrones, a company based in Germany, has been a leader in developing drones that can carry payloads such as life rafts. These drones have been tailored towards the water recreation areas and could fly life saving devices to persons struggling in the water and allow for quicker response times.
Another Pioneer in the field of Drone Tech is Bill Piedra, an american Drone Developer, who has made significant advances in the Drone Lifesaving efforts, but it hasn't come without trail and error. Bill has also created a drone that can carry life preservers to people struggling in the water.
