With more and more people flying drones, one country is making it easier to report pilots who aren't flying by the rules.
Canada's Transportation Ministry just released an online form, allowing people to report incidents with drones and drone pilots. It doesn't mean a pilot automatically did something bad... Canadian officials say it's simply a way to streamline incident reporting. That helps them investigate more cases.
The online form asks for basic information; where the drone was flying, what it was flying over, and when it happened. It also goes more in-depth: asking what type of drone was used, a description of the pilot, and if the reporting person had any evidence- like videos or photos.
Transport Canada' says the reporting form is designed to be used on a cell phone or tablet. If someone is guilty of violating Canada's drone rules, they could face a fine, or jail time.
