AV News: Formula E Drone Crash

Andrew Eisenberg recorded video of an epic drone crash at a recent Formula E Racing event in NYC. The pilot of a Titan GFD1 large racing drone had to spike it on the ground for safety reasons in order for the malfunctioning drone to not be a danger to the large crowds of spectators who saw it go down after racing head to head with a Formula E car. -- Kendall: There's nothing like some good video to bring people together. Especially good drone video... In this next case, it's video of a drone- and we'll leave it up to you to decide if it's good, or not. Andrew Eisenberg shot this video at a Formula-E race in New York City. As a promotional stunt- a Formula-E car lined up against a G-F-D-1 drone. The matchup couldn't have started better for the drone- blasting away from the race car. That is- until that fateful moment. No surprise- Andrew is a drone guy, too. While he doesn't have one, he's a fan. Back to that drone's untimely end- at least the little guy went out while putting on a good show for the crowd. At AVN, I'm KM.
