The winners of the 2017 Drone Video Awards are...The votes were counted and the winners were determined! See who succeeded in the 2017 Drone Video Awards. Any video uploaded to AirVuz.com between January 1, 2017 - December 15, 2017 was eligible for the 2017 Drone Video Awards. How were the videos selected? The team of curators at AirVūz narrowed down over 33,000 aerial video submissions on the basis of video quality, editing, community popularity, originality, and flying technique.

Details about the Drone Video Awards: Any video uploaded to AirVuz.com between January 1, 2017 - December 15, 2017 is eligible for the 2017 Drone Video Awards. The winners were announced LIVE on the AirVūz Facebook page on Monday February 5th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CST. How were the videos selected? The team of curators at AirVūz narrowed down over 33,000 aerial video submissions on the basis of video quality, editing, community popularity, originality, and flying technique. What are the prizes? A plaque, cash and prizes will be awarded to winners in 13 categories. Drone Video of the Year - $1000 USD FPV Video of the Year - $1000 USD Photo of the Year - $500 USD Honorable Mentions include Omer Gorkcen who had the Most Uploads, with 608 aerial videos on his profile! The most Vūz on a single video was over 1.1 million for Jaxon Roberts’ “Byron Bay.” Brent DeBlesser’s “Lofoten Islands” went the most viral with over 63K shares and 5+million vūz! Also, Johnny Schaer, AKA Johnny FPV was the most followed FPV Pilot with 712 followers and counting!
