A Day In the Life of An Icelandic Volcano

If you think flying a racing drone over the mountains is challenging, how about this: flying your mini-quad over molten lava?  One thing is for sure, there is no recovery from a crash in the spot filmed by the very talented content creator and first person view (FPV) pilot icelandaerials.   He managed to film the ongoing eruption of Iceland's Geldingadalur volcano.  Located near the city of Reykjavik, it began erupting in March of 2021, presaging what many believe to be a period of renewed volcanic activity in the long-dormant region.
