68°N - Lofoten

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Contributor and former DVOW Finalist rbendjebar used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to create this marvelous aerial video from Norway's Lofoten's islands. The title of the video references the far northern latitude of the archipelago, which sit between the 68th and 69th parallels, just within the Arctic Circle. Despite their northern position, the Lofoten's feature a surprisingly mild climate; they are actually the northernmost point in the world where average year-round temperatures are above freezing.

This is my 2nd video of my trip to the Lofoten Islands in March-April 2019. The video is composed entirely of aerial footage shot with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. All footage recorded in Dlog-M and HEVC/H.265 and edited and graded in Resolve 16 Public Beta. Enough has been said about the unique and spectacular Lofoten Islands that I have little to add other than I intend to return at various seasons to try and capture the essence of this magical place.
