40th Day of Puxi Lockdown

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Fomer Drone Video of the Week Finalist Mattcoq brings us this excellent drone video from Shanghai as China's largest city was in the sixth week of a lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022. The video was shot over Puxi, which is the part of Shanghai lying on the West Bank of the Huangpu River and encompasses the historic heart of the city. While China had been able to contain the novel coronavirus for much of 2020 and 2021, the Omicron wave washed over many of its largest cities in early 2022, triggering massive lockdowns.
