12 Apostles to Bells Beach 2024 - Part 3 More Natural Wonders - Great Ocean Road

After visiting the 12 Apostles area, I took the Great Ocean Road and captured these scenic places along the way back to Melbourne; Melba Gully, Castle Cove Lookout, Cape Otway Light Station, Apollo Bay (town), Carisbrook Falls, St Georges River, Lorne-Queenscliff Coastal Reserve, Lorne Jetty, Lorne (town), Aireys Inlet (town), Split Point Lighthouse, Fairhaven beach, Bells Beach and Southside Beach.

It was a big day so after Bells Beach I took the main road back to Melbourne.

I filmed all 3 videos on a single day trip. I left Melbourne at 3:30am and took the quickest 3 hour road to the 12 Apostles, arriving at 6:30am. I explored the area and then took a slow drive back to Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to film this video and got back home in Southbank, Melbourne by 7:30pm on the same day.

It was an amazing trip particularly on a nice day like the one I had. The windy, scenic road was an awesome experience. If you visit then a trip over 2 days or more would be best.
