Þingvellir (anglicized as Thingvellir) National Park in Iceland is the mainland's sole UNESCO World Heritage site and is known to be home to some of the most pivotal moments in Iceland's history as well as some of it's most remarkable geological landmarks. Content creators AdventurousDrone captured aerial footage of it, noting that it was also a filming location for Season 4 of Game of Thrones. Fans may recall that is was the setting for the battle between the brave Brienne of Tarth and the Hound.

Þingvellir is also a place of historical significance. In 930 AD, thirty chieftains from around Iceland met here to create the island's first laws.
