Drone Music Videos

Australian drone pilot Jaxon Roberts is known for his highly creative, people-oriented drone videos.  His video entitled "Byron Bay", which stars the well-known yogi Sally Mustang, has well over a million views on AirVuz and was a Drone Video Awards Finalist.  In this video, he creates an amazing music video featuring three artists who come from different genres that merge together in this music video. Shot throughout Australia from above, this video was a finalist for the AirVuz Drone Video of the Week Contest.

RAJITHEONE, a rising Minneapolis, Minnesota hip hop  recording, recently debuted his newest music video, which was shot almost exclusively with drones. Filmed in sunny Southern California, it’s the first-ever music video produced by AirVūz.  The team of certified AirVūz pilots used the DJI Inspire 2 with the Zenmuse X7 camera, as well as the DJI Phantom 4 Professional, for all of the drone shots. 

Rising Minneapolis, Minnesota music star Chris Hawke teamed up with AirVuz and OKP Productions to create this amazing music video for the new song "White Jeans".  The video was prominently featured in the "Birthday Party" short film produced by OKP and AirVuz.  Shot in Miami, Las Vegas, and other spots, this video will bring back fond memories of big budget music videos on MTV! 

The creative potential of drones to tell powerful stories is astounding.  In this video, the acclaimed Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi is filmed playing a piano on an iceberg broken off from the Wahlenbergbreen, a glacier on the coast of Svalbard, in the northern reaches of Norway.  The music video was created to build awareness of global warming and its visible consequences in the Arctic, and was selected as a finalist for the 2017 AirVuz Drone Video Awards in the Originality category.  

Top contributor Hamza Mujtaba teamed up with his friend James Fearnley to create this music video of Fearnley's song "For You".  The music video uses extensive aerial footage from a DJI Mavic Pro drone to supplement the ground cameras, creating the effect of a big budget music video.  It was shot in Bradford, just to the west of Leeds in West Yorkshire.  Both Bradford and Leeds are part of the urban agglomeration known as the West Yorkshire Built-up Area, which is home to about 1.5 million Britons.  

A music video for a ring tone?  Why not?  Top contributor Snorrithor worked with Samsung to create this epic video to accompany the Samsung "Over the Horizon" ringtone.  The video features ground footage of a piano performer intermixed with epic drone footage shot from many spots in Iceland.   It features epic shots of Iceland's trademark glaciers, mountain streams, geysers, canyons and sea cliffs.  It may make you want to buy a Samsung phone, and it very definitely will make you want to plan a trip to Iceland!

If you turn off the sound, you might think this video by contributor Earth Propeller was a music video for the 80's band A Flock of Seagulls (remember "I Ran"?).  Rather, these white birds flying off the coast of the Netherlands are the stars of this epic music video of the song "For L R P" by the Dutch band the Flying Dutchman.  The first half of the video is some absolutely mesmerizing drone footage of seagulls flapping away over the North Sea.  

Sunny Los Angeles in Southern California is the backdrop for this epic music video for the song "What's Best" by rapper Finding Novyon.  Top contributor Fit Lam Studios, who has been a trailblazer in using drones to create epic music videos, did just that with this masterpiece of a music video.  It was shot using extensive drone footage, creatively edited with special effects and mixed with ground footage.  

This epic music video was produced by contributor Wellington Rodriguez, whose video "There's No One Else" was the winner of the 2017 AirVuz Drone Video Awards in the "Dronie" category.  With great shots of the band interspersed with epic drone shots of the artist walking on a glacier in the Bavarian Alps of Southern Germany, the video would pass for a big budget music video from the 1980's heyday of MTV.   The Bavarian Alps is the term used to describe the portion of the Alps mountain system lying in southern Germany.
