Explore the French island of Corsica in this fantastic drone video by new AirVuz contributor Bastien Nvs.  At the :18 mark, you'll see the Cascade de Piscia waterfall, followed by shots of the rock formations of the Scandola Nature Reserve on the island's western coast.   At the 1:39 mark, there's an amazing shot of the town of Benifacio, which sits on a narrow peninsula at the southern tip of the island.  You'll also fly over some of Corsica's interior mountains and explore some of its legendary beaches.

Explore the French Mediterranean island of Corsica from above in this fantastic drone video by AirVuz contributor Kris-Tof.  At the :30 mark, you'll see the famous heart-shaped rock of the Calanques de Piana, roughly in the middle of Corsica's western coastline.  At around the :43 mark, you'll see one of the island's famous Genoese watchtowers.  At about 1:15, you'll see the lighthouse of Grande Sanguinaire, an islet off Corsica's western coast.  Other locations include the cliff-top town of Bonifacio, at Corsica's southern tip (2:02).  

Top AirVuz contributor Maxandre Brunet was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this rather haunting video of winter on the French island of Corsica.  The video was filmed in the forest near the town of Vizzavona, which lies in the mountainous interior of the island, near its center.  Beautifully color-graded, the video features some epic shots of Monte d'Oro, one of the tallest mountains on the island, which has a peak altitude of a bit over 7.8k ft. above sea level (around 2.4k m).  

The fourth-largest island in the Mediterranean by land area, France's Corsica offers some of the most rugged natural beauty to be found in Europe.  In this fantastic drone video by top AirVuz contributor and pilot Drone My Life, you'll see the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte as you've likely never seen it before: through the lens of a first person view (FPV) racing drone.  The video includes "setup" footage shot by a DJI Mavic drone.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in September, 2021.  

Contributor www.oberschneider.com used a DJI Phantom 4 drone to create this stunning aerial tour of Corsica, the great French island in the Mediterranean.  The island reflects a blend of Italian and French cultures, which is a function of its history: the island was a territory of Genoa for almost five hundred years beginning in the late 13th century.  In the video, you'll get a good overview of the island, including some of its towns, its famously rocky coastline, and its beautiful mountainous interior.  

The French island of Corsica is the fourth-largest in the Mediterranean by land area.   Nearly all of its roughly 350k permanent inhabitants live in the towns and cities of its coast, the majority on its western coasta.  Its interior, as you'll see in this beautiful drone video by AirVuz contributor Hashtaggu, is largely mountainous, with about two-thirds of the island's roughly 3.4k square mi. (8.7k square km) covered by peaks that reach altitudes of up to 8.9 ft. above sea level or around 2.7k m.  

In this outstanding video by former DVOW Finalist Hashtaggu, you'll get an aerial view of sunset on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica.  The video was filmed around Bastelicaccia, which is situated about two-thirds of the way down Corsica's western coastline.  Bastelicaccia lies on one of a series of bays which characterize most of western Corsica.  The glorious sunsets afforded to these western-facing shores are seen by comparatively few, with the vast majority of Corsica's residents and tourists on its eastern coastline.    

Contributor Thib from Above used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this beautiful view of the area around St. Flaurent on the Mediterranean island of Corsica.  The island's dominant feature is Cap Corse, a long peninsula which extrudes from the island's northern end.  St. Flaurent sits on the western side of the base of the peninsula, across from Bastia, which sits on the eastern side of the base.  As you will see from the video, it's a beautiful area with a quaint harbor town and numerous lagoons.

The Punta di Campomoro is one of the most scenic spots in Corsica. It sits at the northern tip of this French island in the Mediterranean which is situated just to the north of Italy's Sardinia. One of the hidden gems of the Mediterranean sea, it offers a fantastic coastline and dazzling blue waters. Noted as a beach lover’s heaven, it’s no wonder why contributor Amaury Descours took his drone to the sky to capture this epic island, whose most famous personage was Napoleon Bonaparte.

Contributor David Dreyfus brings us this beautiful aerial video of the southwestern coast of Corsica, the French island in the Mediterranean.  The video was shot in between Roccapina and Murtoli, the former being on the coast and the latter being a few km/mi inland in the island's mountainous interior.  The video features some amazing footage of Torra di Roccapina, a ruined 17th century Genoese watchtower.  Much of this area is only reachable by boat due to the distance from the main roads.

North of Cap Corse, the peninsula which forms the northern tip of the French island of Corsica in the western Mediterranean, there's a tiny island called Giraglia.  The island's two landmarks are a tower built by the Genoese in the 16th-17th centuries called Torra di Giraglia and a lighthouse.  Both are official monuments protected by the government of France.  In this video by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Altrove, you'll get a bird's eye view of this iconic looking island, which is barely visible on a map.

Tesla's all-electric sports cars have captured the imagination of auto enthusiasts around the globe.  Its monster electric motors are capable of delivering head-snapping acceleration, and its light carbon footprint appeals to conservationist instincts.  They are also amazing vehicles to see, especially when cruising in an exotic environment.  In this video, contributor Yolo uses a drone to treat us to an aerial view of a Tesla Model X cruising the Mediterranean island of Corsica.  Prepare to be amazed. 

For a second upload to AirVuz, new contributor Nature et Voyage brings us this excellent wintertime drone view from the mountains of the Mediterranean island of Corsica.  The video was filmed in and around the col de Vergio mountain pass, which has an altitude of about 1.5k meters (around 5k ft.) and is the highest pass on the island.  You'll also see some great footage of the nearby Radule Waterfall.  The area is in the west-central part of the island, part of the mountainous "spine" of the island, which is part of Metropolitan France.  

Explore the fabled French Mediterranean island of Corsica by FPV drone in this amazing video by bj-drone, which was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in May of 2023.  Most of the footage was captured along the coast of the island, which is the fourth-largest in the Mediterranean.  The video opens with a flyby of one of the island's coastal defensive towers, followed by a series of long, pefectly-flown beach "skims".  Another highlight is at about the 1:20 mark, where you'll see the Genoese Parate, on Corsica's western coast.  

Brand new AirVuz contributor KarmaKopter used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this beautiful from the French Mediterranean island of Corsica.  The area filmed was around the village of Sant'Antonino, which is situated on a hilltop just inland from the island's northwestern coast.  It's part of Haute-Corse, the Department which covers the northern part of the island.  Sant'Antonino is one of the roughly 150 villages included in the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France list of France's most beautiful villages.   

One of the natural wonders of the French island of Corsica is the Needles of Bavella (Aiguilles de Bavella).  These rocky spikes sit atop their namesake hill in the southern part of the island, west of Sari-Solenzara.  The seven main spikes line up roughly north-south, with the highest (Punta Alta) having a peak elevation of about 1.85k meters above sea level or just over 6k ft.  The Needles are some of the most popular hiking and climbing spots in Corsica.  Check them out in this beautiful drone video by Mamax.  

If you look at the French Mediterranean island of Corsica on a map, one of the things which stands out is the crazy shape taken by the island's western coastline.  It is by far the most jagged looking coastline of any Mediterranean island.  "On the ground" it means a fantastic number of bays, small inlets, and lagoons, many of which are not accessible by road - ie, boats only.  As you'll see in this drone video by AirVuz contributor and pilot Grib, boaters have countless secluded spots from which to choose.

While the Mediterranean Sea isn't typically associated with surfing, there is an active surfing scene on the western side of the French island of Corsica during certain times of the year.  In this drone video by former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Hashtaggu, you'll get an aerial view of the Ruppione Surf Festival, which was held in September of 2023.  Located about two-thirds of the way down Corsica's western coastline, Le Ruppione sees optimal surf breaks during the Fall and Winter seasons.  

Check out this beautiful 4k drone video from the French island of Corsica, compliments of AirVuz contributor Mamax.  The video was filmed over and around the town of Propriano, which lies on the Valinco Gulf on Corsica's southwestern coast.  It's part of the department of Corse-du-Sud, which covers roughly the southern half of the fourth-largest Mediterranean Sea island.  The video includes some great shots of one of the Genoese watchtowers, a series of coastal defensive positions built by the Genoese Empire in the 16th-17th centuries.

Here's a beautiful drone video from the French island of Corsica, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Mamax.  The video was filmed over and around Lake Tolla, which lies in the mountainous interior of the Mediterranean Sea's fourth-largest island.  The lake is located about 20 mi. (a little over 30 km) northeast of Ajaccio, one of the main towns on the island's western side.   Lake-Tolla is man-made, having been created in the late 1950's from the damming of the Prunelli River.   

Check out these fantastic drone views of the French Mediterranean island of Corsica, compliments of new contributor Nature et Voyage.  The video was filmed in Niolu, a micro-region in the northwestern interior of the island.  You'll be treated to some excellent shots of the town of Calasima; set at an altitude of 1.1k meters above sea level (around 3.6k ft.), it's the highest village in Corsica.  You'll also see the Paglia Orba, a mountain which lies west of the village and which has a summit elevation of 2.5k meters or about 8.25k ft.

Contributor David Dreyfus used a DJI Mavic drone to create this beautiful aerial video of the French island Corsica.  The Sanguinaires are a group of islands which lie off the western coast of this Mediterranean island.   Murtoli is a town on the nearby coast of the main island of Corsica.  It's known for its spectacular jagged coastline, where hundreds of small lagoons and coves, which are interspersed with beautiful sandy beaches.  Enjoy the views of the island which was the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte! 

Check out this excellent drone video of the French Mediterranean island of Corsica, compliments of contributor flaneur_7508.  The video was filmed around the town of Ajaccio, which is located about two-thirds of the way down Corsica's long, western coastline.  The town sits on a bay, one of several which line Corsica's western coastline.  With a permanent population of around 80k, Ajaccio is the largest settlement on Corsica, the third-largest island in the Mediterranean by land area after the Italian islands of Sicily and Sardinia.

AirVuz contributor Maxo used a first person view (FPV) drone as well as a gimbal-stabilized DJI drone to create this marvelous aerial view of one of the most well-known beaches on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica.  Palombaggia Beach is situated on the island's southeastern coast, on the south side of the peninsula which forms the southern side of the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio.  The body of water here is the Tyrrhenian Sea, an inlet of the Mediterranean formed by the sea's three largest islands: Sicily, Sardinia, and Corsica.  

AirVuz contributor and pilot Nature et Voyage brings us this excellent drone video from a remote spot on the Mediterranean island of Corsica.  The video was filmed in the course of a hike along the "sentier du littoral", a path just north of the town of Saint-Florent.  It's on the western side of Cap Corse, the long peninsula which forms the northern end of the island.  The body of water here is called the Gulf of Saint-Florent, which is formed by Cap Corse in the east and a much shallower, wider peninsula in the west.

AirVuz contributor and pilot N.I.X. brings us this beautiful drone video of the Calanques de Piana, one of the more prominent of the many inlets which make up much of the western coast of the French island Corsica.  It's situated about a third of the way down the island's long western coastline, which is the most jagged stretch of coast anywhere in the Mediterranean Sea.  The Calanques de Piana area is part of a UNESCO World Heritage natural site on Corsica, the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean. 

Like the other large Mediterranean islands, Corsica's population is concentrated on its coastlines particularly on its northern and western sides.  Covering 8.7k square km (around 3.35k square mi.), the island has a substantial interior which is largely unknown to outsiders.  In this drone video by marcodeb, you'll get a nice aerial view of some beautiful spots far from Corsica's well-known beach areas.  The video features footage of the tows of Pigna and Sant' Antoninio and Corbara, plus the U Fangu River. 

While most videos of Corsica focus on its Mediterranean coastline, with this drone video by TheCorsicanDroner you'll get a bird's eye look at the interior of the island.  The spot filmed is the Uomo di Cagna, a mountain  situated in the south central part of the island.  The granite mountain has also given birth to some spectacular looking rock formations.  Much of the interior of the island is sparsely populated, as the vast majority of Corsica's 330,000 permanent residents live on its coasts.
