North East England is an official first-level region of the United Kingdom. It includes the counties of Northumberland, Durham, Tyne & Wear, and the northern part of North Yorkshire. It's home to some of the UK's most well-known seaports and lighthouses, and important natural sites like the Cheviot and Simonside Hills. Culturally, the region is home to numerous castles and fortresses such as Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh, a number of well known ancient ruins such as the remains of Hadrian's Wall, large and modern football stadiums, and landmarks around the coal mines of Northumberland, which helped to propel England's Industrial Revolution. Here is a collection of the best drone videos from this historic and beautiful region. Aerial photo: "Dunstanburg Castle" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot newcastlemale.
