We guarantee you've never seen micro drone footage quite like this!  First person view (FPV) pilot extraordinaire, KatsuFPV, teamed up with Japanese model group "Onnanocos" to create this brilliant drone video.  Staged in a Japanese high school, he flew a 1.6" drone equipped with a RunCam Split Mini FPV camera through narrow gaps and around the school girls.  The result is a creative, beautiful, and smoothly orchestrated flight. This video was a Winner in our Drone Video Awards' Micro Drone Angle Mode category.

Cinewhoop drones involve inevitable compromise between video quality and flying weight.  Some of the best cinewhoop footage is from drones mounted with "naked" GoPro's, in which the "guts" of the popular HD camera are extracted and mounted on a micro drone.  The results can be astounding, as you'll see in this DVA nominated video by YKS.  Shot on a "naked" GoPro Session 5, the stunning 4K footage is edited brilliantly, with smooth transitions and proximity flying skills galore through bandos, jungle gyms, and around tree branches. 

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot grid_fpv has combined brilliant architecture and nature beautifully thanks to his smooth, skilled flying in this outstanding piece, which was a Finalist for the second annnual Drone Video Awards in the Micro Drone Angle Mode category. Shown in the digital magazine "designboom," this house is available to rent in Karuizawa, Japan, a resort town in the mountains outside of Nagano. First person view (FPV) micro drones can transform the most prosaic setting into a mini amusement park, and if the drone can carry an HD camera the content creation possibilities are endless.  See what AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Sekile is able to do with his "cinewhoop" in a schoolyard, where he's able to zip under benches, through soccer nets, and up the rope climb flying like you imagined you could when you were a kid. This piece was nominated in the 2nd Annual Drone Video Awards in the Micro Drone Angle Mode category. 

Japanese creative company, NAKED, brought the bright lights and energy of Tokyo to Taipei with the installation, "Tokyo Art City".  AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot SUSTOSFPV was drawn to the flashy projection mapping display like a moth to flame. He takes flight through the artificial streets of Tokyo with his micro drone and explores replicas of famous places like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, and Ueno. This video is a Micro Drones Angle Mode nominee in our Drone Video Awards.
