2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 23

Top contributor wesselbabtist was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for his first AirVuz upload, and won with this, his second: a fantastic piece from the Faroe Islands, a Danish archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean.  Fast-moving and beautifully edited, the video will take you over some of the spectacular scenery of the group of islands, which is increasingly being compared to Iceland as a destination for adventurous travelers which are located roughly between Norway and Iceland.

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist seanalami shows the power of the new DJI Mini Pro 3 drone with this fantastic aerial video from Istanbul, Turkey.   Starting at about the :26 mark, there's a magnificent shot of the Çamlıca Mosque,  which was completed in 2019 and is the largest mosque in Turkey.  Then you'll head to the Golden Horn inlet on the western side of the city for some views of the Galata Bridge, followed by a flyover of the nearby Galata Tower.   Other featured spots include the First Bosphorus Bridge.  

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot alexchristophe made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in June of 2022 with this outstanding reel, featuring some of the highlights of his past year as an FPV pilot.  The video opens with a pair of car-chasing sequences, followed by a shot chasing a BMX rider hitting a ramp somewhere in the desert. At the :35 mark, there's an epic shot of a supercar sharing the rode with a group of camels, and at the 1:00 mark you'll tear down a mountain in the Swiss Alps.  

Top AirVuz contributor SKY DIRECTOR brings us this outstanding drone video from the historic seaside town of Haapsalu, Estonia.  The town is located in Lääne County, the northwesternmost county in this small Baltic Sea country.  Founded in the 13th century, the town has long been associated with its curative mud baths, which were used by the ruling Romanov Family during the time when Estonia was part of the Russiam Empire.  It's the site of an annual Blues festival which takes place in August.  

Behold this magnificent aerial tour of Paris, France by former Drone Video of the Week Winner FrameworkFilms.  The "stars" of the video are three of the most recognized landmarks in the City of Light: the Eiffel Tower, the lattic tower contstucted in connection with the 1889 World's Fair; the I.M. Pei-designed Louvre Pyramid in the courtyard of what is probably the world's most famous museum; and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica atop Montmartre Hill, the city's second-most famous church after the Cathedral of Notre Dame.
