Normandy is a historical as well as official region of northwestern France. This region is inextricably tied to two of the most momentous seaborne invasions in history: the invasion of Southeast England by knights of Normandy and Brittany under William the Conqueror in 1066, and the Allied invasion of Nazi-occupied Europe via the beaches of Normandy in 1944. In addition to its historical sites, it's also home to one of the world's most important monasteries at Mont. St. Michel, and one of France's most important seaports. Here is a collection of the best drone videos of the region, home to some of the greatest cultural treasurers and spectacular scenery in all of Europe.
