Guam is an island territory of the United States in the Western Pacific Ocean. The southernmost member of the Mariana Islands, it's the largest of all of the islands in the broader region known as Micronesia. Colonized by Portugal and then taken over by Spain, it was captured by the United States during the Spanish–American War of 1898, taken by Japanese forces near the outset of World War II, then recaptured by the United States in 1944. Largely covered in tropical rainforest, Guam is also known for its beautiful beaches and waterfalls. Check out this collection of drone videos from the westernmost territory of the USA.
