Barbados is an independent island nation, the easternmost of the Caribbean Islands. It lies to the east of Saint Vincent and the other members of the Windward Islands. Unlike most countries in the region, Barbados was really only part of one overseas empire - the British, from which it emerged as an independent nation in 1966. Compared to the more mountainous islands to its west, Barbados has relatively flat terrain. Even though it's considered a Caribbean island, it's actually in the Atlantic ocean, which is why it's got the best surfing beaches in the region. Here is a collection of the best drone videos of this bit of Caribbean paradise. Aerial photo: "Bridgetown Port" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Cielo.
