The Republic of Namibia sits on the western side of Sub-Saharan Africa, with a long Atlantic Ocean coastline. Namibia has only been a sovereign country since 1990, having won its independence from South Africa at that time. It is a very lightly populated country, with only about 2.5 million inhabitants spread out over an immense area of 825k square km (just under 320k square mi), roughly 2x the state of California in the USA. The landscape features vast deserts, a giant plateau, and mountains reaching several thousand meters in height. It is home to a large amount of African mammal wildlife, ranging from lions to elephants. This collection of drone videos will give you an aerial tour of this magnificent land.
