Prepare to be amazed by this stunning drone video from Namibia, compliments of contributor davetke2002.  Starting at the :16 mark, you'll see the Sossusvlei, a giant salt pan at the southern end of the Namib Desert.  At the 1:00 mark, you'll see the nearby Sossusvlei, a white clay pan which is home to some of the world's highest sand dunes.  At 1:45, you'll fly past the Spitzkoppe, a mountain which is sometimes called the Matterhorn of Namibia, and at 2:40 you'll see Walvis Bay.  Interspersed are some magnificent safari animal shots.

Prepare to be blown away by this short drone video from Namibia, compliments of top contributor Ericbartolo.  He used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to record highlights of a two week trip through the Sub-Saharan African country, in which he covered over 4k km (around 2.4k mi.).  The video opens with an epic shot of the Fish River Canyon, a giant ravine in the southern part of the country.  You'll also be treated to some incredible views of the Namib Desert, which runs along the Namibian coastline and which is one of the driest places on earth.

Here's an amazing drone's eye view of Namibia's famed Fish River Canyon, compliments of contributor XG121.  Located in the southern part of the country near the South African border, it's created by the Fish River.  The canyon is about 160 km (around 100 mi.) long, and up to 550 meters (around 1.8k ft.) deep.  It's the largest canyon on the African continent, and appears near the top of most authoritative lists of the world's top canyons.  Its accessible via a hiking trail, one of the most popular in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Like many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Namibia is known in part for its large mammal wildlife, many of which can only be seen in the wild on safaris to the country.  One of these mammals is the Hippopotamus, the third-largest form of land mammal, and only native to Africa.  In this drone video, contributor FreD gives us a drone's eye view of a very relaxed group of Hippo's cooling themselves in some Namibian waters.  From the video, you'll see how their noses let them lay almost totally submerged.

AirVuz contributor F.Kok. brings us this fantastic drone video of the Zambezi River, one of Africa's longest waterways.  The video was filmed in the Caprivi, strip of land which extends from the northeastern corner of Namibia, with Angola and Zambia to its north and Botswana to its south.  The Zambezi, Africa's fourth-longest river, rises in Zambia and follows a generally eastern/southeastern course of about 1.6k mi. (around 2.6k km) to Mozambique on Africa's eastern coast, where it empties into the Indian Ocean.

Check out this drone video of one of the longest rivers in Africa, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot F.Kok.  The Okavango River rises in the highlands of Angola.  It runs a generally southeastern course of just under a thousand miles (1.6k km), making it the fourth-longest river in Sub-Saharan Africa.  The river empties not into an ocean but rather into the inland Okavango Delta in Botswana, where it either evaporates.  In the video, you'll see a stretch of the river where it forms the boundary between Namibia and Angola.

AirVuz contributor and pilot F.Kok brings us this excellent drone video from the coast of Namibia, a large country in southwestern Africa.  The video was filmed over Henties Bay, a town which lies roughly in the middle of Namibia's long Atlantic Ocean coastline.  Part of the National West Coast Recreation Area, the area is very popular with 4x4 enthusiasts.  Close to the mouth of the Omaruru River, the area was named Coast of Fish (Praia das Sardinhas) by the Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias in the late 15th century.
