Iceland is sometimes known as the land of Fire and Ice, in reference to its active volcanoes other geological phenomena as well as its extensive ice caps and glaciers. In this outstanding drone video by top contributor Ananda Joinet, you'll see the juxtaposition of the "hot" and "cold" parts of this North Atlantic island. The "fire" in the video is the Litli Hrútur eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcano near Reykjavik which occurred in July and August of 2023. By contrast, the "ice" is the Vatnajökull, Iceland's largest ice cap.

Check out this fantastic drone video from Spain's Canary Islands, compliments of AirVuz contributor Kris-Tof. The video was filmed on Lanzarote, the easternmost and third-largest (by land area) of the archipelago, which is situated off the coast of North Africa. The first aerial shot is over one of the volcanoes of Timanfaya National Park, on the southwestern part of the island. Much of the rest of the video was filmed over the Lanzarote coastline, with a great shot of the town of Punta Mujeres on the northern coast at the :53 mark.

DJI's Mini 3 Pro is an ideal drone for aerial videographers on the go: it weighs only 8 oz (249 g), making it portable, safe, and exempt from many legal restrictions attached to larger birds. It also has an impressive camera, with a 1/1.3 inch sensor and the capability to shoot 4k video at 60 frames per second. In this excellent piece by former Drone Video of the Week Winner Nico Lehr, you'll see the Mini 3 Pro in action over some of the world's most beautiful scenery: the towering peaks and verdant valleys of the Swiss Alps.

AirVuz contributor montesinosdroneworld brings us this beautiful drone video of one of the most iconic spots in the Southwestern USA: Dead Horse Point, which is part of the Moab Canyon area in southeastern Utah. Due to its similarity to the Grand Canyon, Dead Horse Point has been used to film numerous movies and TV shows, most notably the famous (but tragic) ending scene of the 1991 road adventure/comedy movie Thelma & Louise, and the opening scene in the 1999 installment of the Mission: Impossible series, Mission: Impossible 2.
