2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 9

Top contributor KASH won his second DVOW contest with this amazing piece from Hong Kong.  The video was shot with a Laowa 6mm T2.1 Zero-D MFT camera mounted to a DJI Inspire 2 drone.  At the :24 mark, there's a great shot looking north towards the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Center, with the gleaming Central Plaza skyscraper in the background.  At around :37, there's a nice nighttime shot of Victoria Harbor looking towards Kowloon.  Other featured locations include the Bank of China Tower (:56), Two IFC Center (1:00), and more.  

Legendary first person view (FPV) drone pilot JohnnyFPV filmed two of the world's top motorcycle drivers in this fantastic FPV piece, which was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in February of 2022.  Riders Sean Kelly and Cameron Beaubier are part of the American Racing team, which competes in the Moto2 World Championship.  Moto2 bikes have three cylinders with about 765 cc of total displacement and produce about 140 hp.  The American Racing team is the only USA-owned team which competes in the league.

Top content creator and drone pilot RobSkyHigh brings us this new edition of his Utah in Motion video, which was a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week in April of 2019.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone, the video contains some excellent timelapse footage.  Most of the video was shot in the portion of the state covered by the Rocky Mountains, which cover much of the eastern part of the state, with some footage from the deserts which cover much of the southwestern part of Utah.  

Explore the islands of the eastern Atlantic Ocean in this fantastic drone video by top AirVuz contributor scientik.  The video, which includes some outstanding first person view (FPV) drone shots, was filmed in four locations: Ireland; the Azores, a Portuguese archipelago in the North Atlantic; Fuerteventura, the second-largest of Spain's Canary Islands by land area, and the North Atlantic island nation of Iceland.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in early March of 2022.  

Check out these excellent drone views of Vienna, Austria and its surroundings, compliments of top AirVuz contributor harispomonis.  Starting at about the :11 mark, there's a great shot of the Schönbrunn Palace, just west of the central city in the Hietzing District, followed by a shot of the hilltop Melk Abbey, a bit to the west of the city.  Other featured locations include Belvedere Palace (:37), St. Charles Church (:48), St. Stephen's Cathedral (:58), and more.  The video also features footage from the nearby Wachau Valley.
