2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 3

Legendary first person view (FPV) pilot JohnnyFPV has probably done more than anyone on the planet to introduce highly cinematic FPV footage into the main stream.  Whether it's filming commercials for Porsche or shooting FPV footage for the big-budget feature film Red Notice, he is at the forefront of this emerging art form.  No surprise then that he was tapped by the National Football League to help create promotional footage for the 2022 Pro Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, some of which you'll see in this epic video. 

Take inthese absolutely stunning aerial views of Alaska, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist alaska42.  Returning to AirVuz after a two year hiatus, this talented content creator has put together some of his best drone footage from 2021.  The video opens with a brilliant Fall Colors shot, followed by a flyover of some sled dogs and then a mountain resort.  At the :15 mark, there's an epic view of a vast glacier.  Other shots feature northern lights, massive snow-covered forests and mountains, and more.

Top content creator and first person view (FPV) pilot Escape Fpv earned another spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this fantastic FPV reel.  In just the first few seconds, you'll tangle with a hot-air balloon and a paraglider, tear down a mountain gully, and fly through some ancient ruins.  Further on in the video, you'll be treated to some great "people" shots, fly through a cooking school, chase a boat and a helicopter, and more.  The video was filmed primarily in Turkey and southern France, including the island of Corsica.

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot beto.fpv shows us some of his best work from 2021 in this amazing FPV reel.  The video features some one-of-a-kind footage from Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas, including both inside and outside views.  You'll also chase through the streets of Houston, follow drift cars, fly by other Houston landmarks like Minute Maid Stadium, fly over an indoor concert, and much more.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in January, 2022.
