2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 39

Prepare to be astounded by this magnificent first person view (FPV) drone video from Indonesia by award-winning contributor Timelab.pro.   The video opens with some jaw-dropping shots of the Mt. Bromo volcano complex in the province of East Java.  Starting at about the 1:00 mark, you'll soar over the famous Sekumpul Waterfall in the interior of the island of Bali.  Other highlights include a skimming run along the Bali coastline (2:08), a flyover of Bali's satellite island of Nusa Penida (3:30), and more.  

Germany's Bastei Bridge is one of Europe's most well-known rock formations.  It sits about 650 ft. (just under 200 m) above the Elbe River in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, a hilly region on the German-Czech border which is also sometimes referred to as the Saxon Switzerland.  In this magnificent piece by multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist New Entertainment Pictures, you'll get a spectacular aerial view of the Bastei, as well as the 260 ft. long (80 m) wooden footbridge as well as the medieval era Felsenburg Neurathen Rock Fort.  

French drone pilot and former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Thibault Menu does high end commercial aerial videography work throughout the country.  His extensive portfolio includes work for TV commercials, documentaries, and other technically complex jobs.  He uses a DJI Inspire 2 drone with a Zenmuse X7 camera as first person view (FPV) drones, depending on client needs.  This demo reel shows the range of his work, including a broad mix of landscape, "people" shots, and action- oriented (FPV) views.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner Balazs Busznyak brings us this stunning drone video from northern Arizona, in the Southwestern USA.  Shot with a DJI Air 2S, the video will take you over Monument Valley, which straddles the Arizona-Utah border and is home to some of the world's most stunning rock formations.  Part of the Colorado Plateau, the sandstone buttes here reach heights of up to 1000 ft. above the surrounding terrain (about 300 m) and have served as the backdrop for some of the most famous Western movies.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor URALDRON brings us this stunning drone video from Russia's Ural Mountains.  The video was filmed over Taganay National Park, which covers a series of mountain ridges near the southern end of the chain in the oblast (province) of Chelyabinsk.   Established in 1991, the park covers a territory of about 220 square mi. (around 570 square km).  Heavily forested, the peaks within the park rise to altitudes of up to just under 3.9k ft. above sea level (just under 1.2k m).
