2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 29

This outstanding drone video of Sydney, Australia was uploaded to AirVuz by contributor Gizmo Drones.  The video opens with a shot of the Harbor Bridge, one of which spans Sydney Harbor from the Central Business District and the city's North Shore.  At the :10 mark, you'll see the great Opera House in Sydney Harbor, one of Australia's most-recognized landmarks.  Another highlight is at the :35 mark, where you'll see the Crown Sydney, which became Sydney's tallest skyscraper when it opened in 2020.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Dave MG brings us this excellent drone video from Hawaii, the Pacific Ocean archipelago which is the USA's 50th state.  The video was shot on the islands of Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.  Specific featured locations include the Banzai Pipeline and other spots along the North Shore of Oahu; Oahu's Waimea Canyon and the Mermaid Caves; Kauai's Hanalei Bay; Diamond Head and Koko Head on Hawaii; Kauai's Na Pali Coast; and Oahu's Makap'u Lighthouse.  

Top contributor Drone My Life won the 2022 AirVuz Drone Video of the Year award for this fantastic video from the Faroe Islands, a Danish chain of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean.  Beautifully edited, the video combines footage from a DJI Mavic 3 Cine drone as well as first person view (FPV) drone footage.  Some of the featured locations include the úlafossur waterfall, which drops straight into the sea; and the needle-like Trøllkonufingur rock pillar.  Around the 1:24 mark, you'll fly (via FPV) through an impossibly-narrow canyon.

For a second-upload to AirVuz, new contributor Kukiis brings us this excellent travel video from the southern portion of Europe.  Created with a combination of drone and ground camera footage, the video will take you over areas of Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia.  You'll start in the mountains of northeastern Italy and northwestern Slovenia before heading to the great Italian Renaissance city of Venice.  At about the 3:00 mark, there's a great shot of Croatia's Krka Waterfalls, and at around 5:00 you'll see the ancient Pula Arena.  

Top AirVuz contributor Shikijo brings us this excellent drone video from the great city of Marseille in Southern France.  The video features drone footage (largely first person view (FPV)) captured in the course of work for EA Sports as well as the French rap star Jul.  The "star" of the video is a large mural covered tower, part of the city's legendary street art scene.  This video was a Drone Video of the Week Finalist and was also a selection for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2022.
