We took our drone out beyond the Wall (Game of Thrones)

Volare Video created this epic drone video of the Sólheimajökull glacier in southern Iceland. The glacier is situated between two volcanoes and it's part of a larger structure called the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap. The Mýrdalsjökull glacier was a primary filming location for HBO's TV series Game of Thrones, as the landscape provided the authentic snow and vertical relief they were seeking starting in Season 2. It stood in as the 'Fist of the First Men' and is where Jon Snow's raiding party first ventured "beyond the wall."
