Two Old Friends - Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque

In this drone video by top AirVuz contributor iskenderfilm, you'll get a bird's eye view of Istanbul's two most famous mosques.  Both the Hagia Sophia and the Sultan Ahmed Mosques (aka the Blue Mosque) are located just north of the Golden Horn, the inlet on the western side of the Bosphorus.  Hagia Sophia actually began its life as a Church becoming a mosque after the Ottoman Conquest of 1453.  The Blue Mosque was built in the early 1700's, near the apogee of the Ottoman Empire.
