Transformus 2016

Once a year my fiancee and I make it out to regional burn called Transformus. The event is in a beautiful area of land nestled in the mountains near Asheville.

Ever since I discovered multirotors a year ago I've wanted to fly the effigy at Transformus. This year I got my wish. Unfortunately, there were people in the effigy so I didn't get a chance to fly through it like I had planned.

A special thanks to all the people who came up to me while I was flying. I know a few of you really wanted to get into the hobby, so please contact me if you want to know more.

I'm so glad I brought my extra headset to take people for rides. Next year I hope to bring more headsets and monitors and possibly make this an official event. Despite the rain and muddy conditions, my friends at Camp IHOP make Transformus a magical experience year after year.
