Senja in July 2018

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top contributor timosanen created this stunning aerial view of Senja, a mountain off the coast of Northern Norway.  Covering almost 1.6k square km (around 600 square mi.), it's the second largest Norwegian island outside of the remote Svalbard archipelago.  Lying north of the Lofoten Islands and well within the Arctic Circle, like the Lofotens it features a surprisingly mild climate even in the winter months.  The island and its spectacular mountain peaks are accessible from the mainland via the Gisund Bridge.
