My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Puerto Rico a few weeks ago and luckily I was able to bring my drones. It was amazing to be in such a different climate than the one I'm used to. I was stunned by the beauty and felt so welcomed by the locals. However, I also learned a lot about the sad realities of the lives of Puerto Rican locals. Gentrification has hurt the countries lush ecosystem and local businesses. Locals are losing their homes and places of business to rich outsiders. I am going to do whatever I can to support local businesses traveling or at home, and treat each place I am as if it were my own home.
