AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Enjoy these aerial views of Bulgaria's Rhodope Mountains, compliments of AirVuz contributor and drone pilot peter_pierre. The Rhodhopes are part of the Rila-Rhodope massif, which is home to the highest mountains on the Balkan Peninsula. The Rhodopes themselves cover nearly 6k square mi. (around 14k square km), about 15% of which lies in neighboring Greece. Their highest peak, Golyam Perelik, has a maximum elevation of about 7.2k ft. above sea level or about 2.2k m. The video was filmed during the Fall season.
