AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : The Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany enjoys the distinction of being the largest and most technologically sophisticated concert hall in the world. Situated on the banks of the Elbe River in the country's second-largest city, the hall was completed in early 2017 at an estimated cost of almost a billion US dollars. It's design resembles a sail, partly in reference to the city's port, the busiest in Germany and the third-largest in the European Union. The building also serves as a residential complex and hosts a hotel.
